American Man (working title) will be a hard-cover “coffee table” book of photography honoring the physical beauty and strength of a diverse cadre of American men.
The work is a celebration of aesthetic gifts and achievements, and also a statement about the magnificent diversity of men who live and work in our country—a diversity that is immensely beneficial to all Americans and the source of much that is great about the United States of America.
American Man will showcase the sculpted physiques of men representing a diversity of races, ethnicities, sizes, abilities, ages, metabolic endowments, sexualities, gender expressions, neurodivergencies, grooming, body ornamentations, ways of making a living, recreational activities, talents, degrees of intro/extroversion, energies and attitudes, urban-suburban-rural lifestyles, regions of the United States, and more.
Common to all of these men is their dedication to the process of transforming the raw material of their genetic gifts into bodies that are beautiful works of art—expressions of human divinity that move us, inspire us and, sometimes, take our breath away.
